Hey! I’m Tara Cardinal
In 2014, my husband & I were searching for our first family home. We were relocating from Fishers and looking for a place that was conveniently located to downtown. We immediately fell in love with the character of our neighborhood, Avalon Hills East.
Having mature trees and a unique landscape allowed us the opportunity to experience our love for nature right in our own backyard. We were welcomed by neighbors with open arms — they invited us into their homes for dinner, asked for playdates, and were always happy to share a cup of coffee & conversation on the front porch. We quickly discovered that our neighborhood is a hidden gem in Indianapolis.
What motivated me to become involved in the community was an increase in petty crime, but what inspires me to stay involved is the love & pride that so many longtime residents have for the area. They have been some of the biggest supporters of North Shadeland Alliance and have helped this grassroots effort take off.
With the continued support of neighbors, I see an opportunity for us to create one of the most desirable places to live in Indianapolis.
